Le PDKI (Parti Démocratique Kurdistan d’Iran), depuis 1945, date de sa création, ne relâche pas la lutte pour gagner son autonomie. Dans cette voie, il a subi la perte de milliers d'hommes. Ce document, réalisé sur la base d'images d'archives, revendique les témoignages de A.R.Ghassemlou et Sadegh Sharafkandi, les deux précédents leaders du PDKI, assassinés par les émissaires de la République Islamique d'Iran, à Vienne (en 1989) et à Berlin (en 1992). Ils nous indiquent le malheur du peuple kurde, massacré par le régime iranien, sans aucune défense et protection des pays occidentaux. A cela, S.Charafkandi ajoute : "En Europe, qui se prétend être démocratique, ils nous tuent, sans que les terroristes de l'Etat iranien soient poursuivis et jugés".

 

J. Golmakani est journaliste-réalisateur d’origine iranienne. En 1977 il commence sa carrière comme rédacteur-photographe à Téhéran. En 1982 il se trouve en France. En 1989 il obtient un Doctorat en cinéma-télévision à la Sorbonne. Sa recherche sur L’image de l’Iran à la télévision française est publiée aux Editions L’Harmattan, préfacé par Marc Ferro.

The Iranian Democratic of Kurdistan has never ceased to struggle for the autonomy of Kurdistan since its creation in 1945. The documentary uses archives of direct testimonies by Dr. A.R. Ghasemlou and Dr. Sadegh Sharafkandi, two former leaders of the IDPK who were assassinated by emissaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna (in 1989) and Berlin (in 1992). They point out the suffering of the Kurdish people, massacred by the Iranian regime with no defence or protection by Western countries. To this, Dr. Sharafkandi adds, «In Europe, which is supposed to be democratic, they kill us without the Iranian state terrorists ever being captured or tried».

J. Golmakani is an Iranian-French filmmaker, author and journalist. In 1977 he began his career as a photojournalist in Tehran-Iran. In 1982 he emigrated to France where he studied and received a Doctorate in Cinema and Television from Sorbonne University. He is the author of Image of Iran on French Television. Golmakani has produced and directed many documentary films for French television as well as many other television companies outside of France.
